To access administrative features, click the Settings icon in the left navigation bar.
This article will cover:
Users
The Users tab shows all current members in your workspace. This is where you can add your colleagues to BasicOps. From here you can add new users, deactivate or reactivate accounts, and manage user roles. Use the Filter and Sort options to narrow your list.
External Users
The External Users tab displays all external users in your workspace — people from outside your organization who have been invited to specific projects. From here you can add or deactivate external users.
See Working with external guest users to learn more.
Clients
The Clients tab displays all client groups in your workspace. Use this tab to create client groups and add or deactivate users within them. The label "Clients" can be renamed to suit your organization's terminology.
See Adding Client users to learn more.
Task Status
The following is only available to Professional plans or better.
The Task Status tab lets you manage the status options available for tasks across your workspace. You can add new statuses, edit existing ones, set colors, and define the order in which statuses appear. Changes here apply workspace-wide.
See Task Status Overview for details.
Custom Fields
The following is only available to Professional plans or better.
The Custom Fields tab lets you create and manage custom data fields that can be added to tasks across projects. Use custom fields to capture information specific to your team's workflow, such as priority, effort estimate, department, or any other attribute.
Automation
The Automation tab lets you create rules that automatically trigger actions based on conditions in your workspace. For example, changing a task status when a due date passes, or sending a notification when a task is assigned. Automation reduces repetitive manual work and helps keep workflows on track.
Integrations
The Integrations tab displays all integrations available in BasicOps. From here you can connect or disconnect services for your entire workspace, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Webex, Jira, GitHub, Zapier, and cloud storage providers.
See Integrations Overview for the full list and setup instructions.
Import
The Import tab lets you bring existing data into BasicOps from other project management tools. Follow the on-screen instructions to map and import your data.
Workspace
The Workspace tab lets you edit your workspace name, upload a workspace icon, manage your subscription plan, and configure other global workspace settings.
See Workspace Settings for a full breakdown of available options.
