Add an Existing Gumloop Agent as an Agent User

Use this guide to connect an existing Gumloop agent to BasicOps by adding the required BasicOps skills in Gumloop, attaching the connection skill to your agent, and starting the BasicOps connection flow.

Download the BasicOps skills

1. Download the BasicOps API skill from Gumloop. Click the download icon in the upper right corner.
2. Download the BasicOps Connect Agent skill from Gumloop. Click the download icon in the upper right corner.

Upload the skills to Gumloop

1. In Gumloop, navigate to Skills.
2. Click Create Skill, then select Upload Files.
3. Drag in the BasicOps API skill file, or click to open the file selector and choose it.
4. Repeat the upload step for the BasicOps Connect Agent skill file.

Add the Connect Agent skill to your agent

1. Open the Gumloop agent you want to connect to BasicOps.
2. Add the BasicOps Connect Agent skill to the agent.

Start the BasicOps connection

1. Open the agent chat.
2. Paste this message and send it:

Connect this agent to BasicOps

The agent will begin the BasicOps connection flow.
