In BasicOps, you can adjust how information is displayed and delivered in your Workspace.
In this article, we will cover the Preferences tab under Settings, which will allow you to adjust:
Font Size
Under Font Size, choose your preferred text size. You can adjust specifically for your Desktop and Mobile app.
Date and Time
Under Date and Time, choose between 12-hour or 24-hour time. You can also select your preferred date format.
Connect to Your Calendar
To integrate your calendar with BasicOps, click Connect under the relevant application. Follow the prompts to link your Google or Outlook account to BasicOps.

Pressing Return when Editing Message
You can choose what happens when you press the return key when editing a message in Task and Project Discussions.
You can choose between:
- Sending the message on return
- inserting a new line on return.
You can use Shift + Return if you want to add a new line and you can also use Cmd + Return to send a the message right away.
Note: This setting only applies to Task and Project Discussions, there is an equivalent setting in Chat and Channels Settings which will affect what pressing return does in your Chats and Channels. Read more about this here.
