Mentioning a team member
- Select the @ icon from the toolbar.
- Find and select the user from the dropdown.
Attaching a file
There are two ways to attach a file to your note:
- Drag and drop a file directly over the note.
- Click the paperclip icon from the toolbar and select an upload option.
Tips and Tricks
Attachment Placement
- When using the 'Add attachment' control, the file is placed wherever your cursor is currently located.
- When dragging files into a note, you will see a caret indicator showing exactly where the file will be dropped, including in the middle of text.
- You can also drag attachments that have already been added to new locations within the note.
Formatting Images
Once an image is attached, you have granular control over its appearance:
Resize: Click the image to reveal drag indicators (white squares); drag these to resize the image.
Alignment: Click the image to view a panel where you can choose how to align the image with your text.
Linking: You can link an image to a specific URL so that clicking it opens that link.
