The latest updates to Notes bring a suite of powerful new controls and interaction capabilities designed to give you more flexibility. You can now format your content with greater precision using text styles and tables, reorganize information effortlessly with drag-and-drop actions, and manage attachments and images with granular control. Additionally, note functionality has been expanded to tasks, ensuring your workflow remains seamless across the platform.

Guide to New Features
1. New Controls and Views We have added several new tools to the toolbar and note interface to help you manage your content better.
Text Styles: You can now choose between paragraph and header styles to structure your text.
Tables: Insert tables directly into your notes to organize data.
Locking Notes: Prevent accidental edits by locking any note using the lock icon located in front of the note name.
Expanded View: Click the expand icon to the right of the note name to let the note take over most of the screen for focused writing.
Personal Notes View: Personal notes are now displayed in a dedicated view rather than a popup.
2. Drag-and-Drop Interactions Reorganizing your notes is now more fluid. When you hover over the start of an element, you will see a drag indicator.
- Move Content: Use the indicator to drag elements anywhere in the note, including inside tables and lists.
- Quick Actions Menu: Click the drag icon to access a menu of options, such as duplicating or deleting the element.
- Managing Tables: In tables, drag icons appear on rows and columns. You can drag them to reorder within the table or click the icon to add rows/columns, duplicate them, or delete content.
3. Advanced Attachments and Images Handling files and images is now more precise.
- File Placement: When using the 'Add attachment' control, the file is placed wherever your cursor is located.
- Drag-and-Drop Files: When dragging files into a note, a caret indicator shows exactly where the file will be dropped, allowing placement anywhere, including inside text. You can also drag existing attachments to new locations.
- Image Resizing: Click an image to reveal drag indicators (teal bar); drag these to control the size.
- Image Alignment & Linking: Click an image to open a panel where you can choose its alignment with text. The menu also allows you to link the image to a URL, view it in the file viewer, or delete it.
4. Notes in Tasks
- Robust note functionality is now available directly within tasks, allowing for better documentation at the task level.
